Post by wwbiteme » Wed Sep 28, 2011 11:34 am

Hi All...Whats that I see beyond the blowing tumbleweeds.....why can it be....YES!!! The USA server is back!!!

A BIG thanks to Gunte for getting the files set up!! Now what I need to know from everyone is what maps do you want to see in rotation? Currently it is same as the EU server but I was thinking adding battlecreek, the old mine map, the old canyon map....ect....let me know soon so I can set this all up!!

Vote in favor of:
Battlecreek
Mine
Boulderdash
Mountain

Would also love to be able to vote for map, not just next. That way the games can kinda choose what they feel like :-)

Way cool to have a US server back, thanks guys :D

Tried to hop online tonight for a bit, but getting a bad checksum error for ww_pak1613.pk3.

Can you turn on the auto downloads on the server?

(I'm downloading the pc version and copying the above named file in case it's been changed since I last played.)

We'll see if that works...

Excited to play without teleportation! Thanks! :D

There must have been an update to ww_pak1613.pk3 at some point since I last played. Because I'm a trouble maker and on a mac, I'm unable to use the starter application that Gunte made for the pc side which seems to provide auto updates? (not unable per say...because I could start up windows in bootcamp or parallels and install ww on there) but would rather play without having to switch back and forth to windows.

The other option would be to host the new file somewhere so I could just manually update it by replacing the one I have. That is, if you don't want to turn auto downloads on on the server side. 8)

Ah one of those Mac types :P
let me check with Gunte and see if he has the files you need. I will have them put in a announcement folder here for people to download from.
