if using the SA ,

radiant does depend on some pk3's , and ull need some textures to start mapping ..
i might fix that tonight .. a developing pack for SA ..

ok that would be cool thx - perhaps we can make a developer installer then more people can start developing. :)

a bit weird after installing radian and opening project settings i change the "seclect mod" to "rtcw" instead of "quake 3 arena" but when i reopen the project settings it doesn't remember it. Also i can't enter anything in the fs_game text field in the project settings.

After trying to change the "select mod" i see the following in the messages box:

Save project file 'C:/Programmer/DevWildWest/main/scripts/user2.proj'
Setting current project in prefs to "C:/Programmer/DevWildWest/main/scripts/user2.proj"
Wrote XML property file 'C:/Program Files/GtkRadiant-1.4/global.pref'
Wrote XML property file 'C:/Programmer/DevWildWest/Radiant-1.4/local.pref'

Any solution for this problem plz?

this might solve some issues :)

*** this no guarantee mapping for wildwest should work with this but .. try to stick to the manual ;)

LOL@all your time. :D

Just to clarify on these links, I would recommend getting either the 1.4 or 1.5 installer separate (to get the latest build) with the separate map pack installer found here: http://redsaurus.net/00/node/4

This page will explain it a little better. For radiant to run on Leopard, follow the instructions at the bottom of this page.

Oh...and most of the good info is in the old forums, but he moved his mac radiant forums here: http://www.redsaurus.net/phpBB3/

might be due , not running as administrator .. there is various documentation around for mapping with vista .. if i can find the time i will write a tutorial

Wrote XML property file 'C:/Program Files/GtkRadiant-1.4/global.pref'
Wrote XML property file 'C:/Programmer/DevWildWest/Radiant-1.4/local.pref'

theese are the settings of radiant itself , and need to be read/write
