Its a great map and i tested it - only thing i can say is too many ladders in the bandit start, takes a lot of time to climb lol....ok but now this map is in the autodownload which means within 2 hours from now, about 19:00 berlin time, all clients should have it...It's also means that the old file ww_yuma_beta2fix.pk3 is deleted both on clients and server. After 19:00 you can start a vote and try/test the new map - i play a little tonigh :).

Btw if you do need to download the map manually then its also always to find here http://www.wwbandit.com

Great stuff, Ringo! I like the changes.

I hopped on the Yuma server (meaning I wasn't local) and is it just me or is the speed set waay too high? I was lauging my butt off constantly running off cliffs and what not. Funny, but not very playable.
  • FPS is much improved - tested on my lan-party laptop. On preBeta2 I was getting anything 12 to 24 at best (would drop as low as 9 around the train flag). Now on Beta3 I'm getting 21 to 44; though of course I was alone on the map with no muzzle flashes, molotov flames, etc, but still it's quite an improvement.

    A few things I noticed:
    • - Wasn't sure if "retraction" covered this, but train route does not entirely match tracks. It follows on 3 sides until the turn to cross in front of sally port, then it's offset and slowly realligns. The final turn sends it right through the Kantine bulding (making me a spot on the wall) and through the train flag area.
      - Train flag blowable door is Bandit blowable only from the outside... should this be?
      - Looks like "blowable" hint symbols are missing in places, but I'm sure those will come
Haven't had the chance to play with anyone yet, so I probably can give more feedback after some gameplay.

Nice work

RINGO "well gunte modified the server speed so he could check the map out in seconds :)"

RINGO "good , im getting 225 fps solid , on occasion near alot of objects it drops to 100, since my card is such a beast id like to know on which exact points ure getting this massive fallback .."

RINGO : yes the retraction is indeed the sliding of the track ( meaning i moved some points and the script wasnt altered yet .. first things first though .. fps is more important then the train rolling on :)

Ill upload a new version tonight since the exit wasnt working...

I like your changes too Ringo! Gravedigger and I ran around it some a week or so ago. I realize you probably cranked up the speed for development reasons, but for me, getting up the bandit spawn ladder was nearly impossible! I know Digger must have had a good laugh watching me launch myself repeatedly into the abyss. I finally said screw it, and swam around the long way.. he he Great changes... it gets more playable with every release.

Care to explain the hole in the ceiling that Bandito circled.. or is it a secret?

Hello - how goes with this great map? Do you need any help pretesting or something? Within a week or 2 it should be no problem to have dev2 version (or newer :)) again in the autodownload.

we were 8 playing today and map is great.... a little difficult for the attackers and a little long to go for the attackers but i will reduce the spawntime a little to about 3 sec something for bandit and 13 for cowboys. Spawntimes does a lot good to balance the map in saloon soo this will also be good. Timelimit is 18 minuts. Will soon be in the normal rotation :)
