ET MAPS : Anyway to convert

Post by Slimeboykill » Tue Oct 25, 2011 1:42 pm

Hey, i have made a few et maps in my time (Enemy Territory) And a couple of them are not textured with ET and are just normal maps.

Is there anyway i can put these into a wildwest pk3 file?

(P.S. Now uploading maps to mediafire will send them here for you to check!)

Sorry for 2nd row comment, mediafire has 404 error -_- so my brother had already uploaded them to his page.

MAPS :

DESERT DUEL (101) - A small map 1v1 2v2 3v3 sort of map, Team Deathmatch (BUGS - Palm Trees came out with a bad texture) - http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefr ... Duel;97089

NORTH POLE - A big map (my latest) based on christmas :p, Axis (Bandits in our case) have to steal the star of the tree :P - http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefr ... Pole;96018

All maps were made a long time back, both are hardly used in the game :( so im sure hopefully wildwest can make some room for them

(Thats if they can be converted!)

(Will take some screenshots)

Hah, I remember North Pole map very well from times when played ET actively - it's kinda fun map indeed and that one should get a chance to be converted to Wild West. Also, considering the size of WW community, Desert Duel also could be a savior for us to enjoy small games on middle of week or when we are not more than a few players online) But for that you should poke our mapping genius Ringo ;)

ahem :)

genious ? lol ..

porting ET maps is do-able .. however .. i remember playing that map also , isnt it the one with the catapults ? if so i also believe there was snow falling ( same as railgun )

source of northpole :

http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/show ... ole-source

if zivs is having a go ill prolly see him pop up later .. if not

keep in mind "Evoirmental stuff" will not function in the WW , so Rain / Snow / Thickfogg will probably get deleted .. keep in mind compiling this .. i could have a look tonight..
