Well well !,

I thought id post one of my thoughts i had earlier and think what the public thinks ..

a short explination is needed :)

- RTCW WW is based on Q3 CTF , one team has to get a capture .. getting a Red flag into a blue base and visa verse , then the team scores..( only if their own flag is located in their base) up to a capture limit of 8 or 12 ..

there is also a mod for Q3 thats called Jailbreak , this mod is also a team based game only based on DM , if you shoot a player lets say he/she dies .( tap out ) the player gets to jail .. (or join later)u respawn in jail if the entire team is dead , the team gets executed and the other team wins .. BUT people in the jail can escape ( standing on heads .. crouching .. that depends on the map )

so for my idea :

people spawn in jail ( bandits and cowboys ) , each team has to escape their jail , they have to work together in order to escape .. example :

a miner has 3 grenades , so make the escape route 6 grenades . or people have to stand on floor buttons to open up stuff ;)
once escaped people need to get an objective ( cowboys and bandits ) and save it somewhere whomever saves it first wins !:)

Ah yes, breathing new life into the game would be a hoot. What better than to change the style of competition? I like this idea a lot!

I see a draw back to this map. Frequently it's a 1-1 or 2-2 which would either mean folks are plain trapped, or need to suicide a few times just to get out to the obj.

Any way you could have the map check player counts before setting exit goals?

interesting point , however

consider the LMS scenario only with objectives... so in a 2 v 2
u can guess the outcome :)
