So I was on HeHEU

Post by Hfx-Rebel » Sun Jan 29, 2012 3:29 pm

last night...had a fun time mixing it up with KEZZ (which turned out to be a WW ol'timer) ...anyways, I enjoyed it, as I always did when I played WW...however, I was led to believe that everything is as it was back in the day...imagine my giddy-ness when I saw the Sheriff with the Volley listed...now imagine my despair when I spawned as a Sheriff with the revolver rifle

What a let down.

Hi Reb,

The volley is there and just as deadly as always! Did you try hitting your "7" key? If you are using the Stand Alone, and trying to mouse wheel to it, that may be the problem. The default setting for Next and Previous Weapon is not the same on SA as it was on Full WW install. I think the SA is set by default to jump between banks 4 and 5? (it's been a while since I tried to use it, so forgive me if I'm wrong) Try going to "Controls", "Shoot" and see what Next Weapon and Previous Weapon are set to. The full WW mod install was like this:

Next Weapon = MWHEELDOWN
Previous Weapon = MWHEELUP

I use the full install, but, I did only cycle through the mouse wheel as I haven't set up the quick buttons on my mouse yet. I'll have to try going directly to the weapon.

My faith in the world is restored :)

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I really want you to fix this issue... I seem to recall that the volleygun in your hands spewed nothing but death and destruction...

No, that wasn't me. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. Really.

My problem ATM is I use an MX500 mouse (has 8 buttons) and I set the buttons to different weapons; But, I just reformatted, and I have been trying to reinstall the drivers for it but I keep receiving a window telling me the drivers installed are newer then what I am trying to install. Does anyone have a driver remover or anything?

You know, had I known it was you, I would have stayed on a little longer...maybe even picked up a musket and give you a run for your title...although, I'm sure I wouldn't have been much of a challenge.

The next time you have a bout of insomnia, give me a shout! I'm always happy to trade lead with young ladies (<---See what I did there? :P )

One would think that I would have known it was you...especially when you joined to rob the bank as a soldier with a musket  but I wasn't expecting you to use an alias...or take the same route through the town everytime! lol Although...if I would have figured on how to get the volley (thought it was still outlawed) then I could have practised some

Hope to see you in the servers again soon!
