for sure i'm not dead....but probably all of you forgot me...anyway, I would like to connect to WW to remind to you how my rifle is effective and my boots paintful at your ass... . Only since the change of the scanner, I do not any more manage to connect on WW , indeed, when the scanner launches the file RTCW.exe, on the page of load appears this message " attempt to join server " and any connection establish? haaarggggggggg
If anybody is not afraid or scare of seeing me returning in WW map, can he( help me to join this *********server?

yes thats correct , the crypt/gen is part of the Zivs construction

anyway I love joke...but I cant play because my antivirus stop this program, always warning me that the standalone WW file contains this virus....what do you think ? are you all infected ? CIAO

Hey there Chris. Not sure why you get this notice. I am running the latest Norton Anti Virus and have no issues.

Cant you over ride this to accept? I can assure you that there are no virus in the software. It could be that because this is a private software and not a public release that it does not recognize it and this is why it is being blocked. We are not Mircosoft ...lol

I know some anti virus software will not let you open a .exe file if it does not recognize it from their lists and I think this may be your issue here...

Whoa.. before you ignore the message and run it, I would check the size of the file on your hard drive and make sure it exactly matches the size of the clean one.. It could be that a virus already on your PC injected itself into the SA's .exe ?

if such where true , alot of people would have a virus

it "could" be a false positive "heh.exe" but here is also a ZIP file
(latest version is called hangemhigh.rar)

if your unsure to use our software , u can always use the in-game browser
( hewster & ringo have created an own master server so u can use that aswell ) in order to do so u need a patched wolfmp OR

goto : c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ and edit the file hosts with notepad ( people whom use win7 cannot edit this u need to change permissions to make it accessable /writeable)
and add the line

85.17.101.88 wolfmaster.idsoftware.com

wolfmaster = hardcoded in wolfmp.exe

for server admins modify your wildwest_server.cfg and locate the lines
seta sv_master and add or replace a server to

wolfmaster.the-wildwest.eu

then the in-game browser will show 2 or 3 servers

this is a temporary workaround ... hewster will probably add some comment here
